At Bilingual Day Nursery Ashby, we use Family to build strong partnerships between nursery and home. We believe parents are the most important people in a child’s life, and Family helps us keep you informed, involved and connected to your child’s learning journey every step of the way.
Through the Family app, parents can access their child’s daily care diary, including information about meals, sleep, nappy changes and other important daily updates. This allows you to see how your child’s day has been and helps maintain consistency between home and nursery.
We use Family to share observations, photographs and special moments from your child’s day, giving you a valuable insight into their experiences, achievements and learning. Our practitioners regularly document children’s progress and next steps, helping parents understand how their child is developing and how they can support learning at home.
Twice a year, families receive a detailed progress report through Family. These reports celebrate each child’s achievements, outline their current development and identify personalised next steps to support continued progress.
Family also provides a secure and efficient way to share important information. Parents can view and digitally sign:

- Medication administration forms
- Care diary updates
- Progress reports and assessments
- Important nursery announcements and messages
