As a close-knit, family-run nursery with just 40 places, we are proud to create a warm, welcoming and nurturing environment where every child is truly known and valued.
Our intimate setting allows us to build strong relationships with children and their families, creating a genuine "home from home" where children feel safe, secure, happy and confident to explore.
Established in March 2022, our nursery is situated within the beautiful grounds of Woodstone Community Primary School. We provide full-day childcare for children aged 3 months to school age, Monday to Friday, from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm, all year round.
As a cosy nursery with just 40 places, we are proud to offer a warm, welcoming and homely environment where every child is known as an individual. We aim to create a genuine "home from home", where children feel safe, secure and valued, and where strong relationships with children and their families are at the heart of everything we do.
Learning Through Play
At Bilingual Day Nursery Ravenstone, we believe children learn best when they are happy, engaged and having fun. Our approach to early childhood education is holistic, recognising that every child develops in their own unique way.
We provide a wide range of experiences and environments that encourage children to explore their interests, develop their independence, build confidence and discover the world around them. By following each child’s individual strengths, interests and curiosities, we create opportunities for them to develop emotionally, socially, physically, creatively and intellectually.
The Bilingual Difference
Our nursery is open to all children. Your child does not need to come from a bilingual family or already speak another language to join us.
We believe that introducing children to another language from an early age is a wonderful opportunity. Our mission is simple: for children to learn another language through play.
Children are naturally curious and have an incredible capacity for language development during their early years. Through songs, stories, conversations, games, routines and everyday play, we introduce children to a second language in a natural and enjoyable way.
Being exposed to another language also gives children opportunities to develop their communication skills, become more culturally aware and appreciate different languages and cultures from an early age. We want children to see language as something exciting, meaningful and part of everyday life.

Our team takes the time to understand each child, building close and trusting relationships with them and their families. We work in partnership with parents and carers to ensure children feel secure, supported and confident throughout their nursery journey.

Our aim is not simply to prepare children for their next stage of education, but to give them the foundations they need to become confident, independent and curious learners for life.
As children progress through our nursery, we support them to develop the communication, social, emotional and practical skills they need for school readiness, while encouraging them to become increasingly independent and resilient.
