Facilities
At Bilingual Day Nursery, Ravenstone, we have created a range of welcoming, purpose-designed spaces where children can learn, explore, play and develop at their own pace. Our nursery environment is carefully planned to support children from babies through to preschool, with each room offering age-appropriate experiences and opportunities.
Baby Room (Mariquitas)
Our Baby Room provides a calm, nurturing environment where babies can feel safe, secure and supported. The space is designed around their individual routines, interests and stages of development, with plenty of opportunities for sensory exploration, movement and discovery.
Toddler Rooms
Our Toddler provision is divided into Toddler 1 and Toddler 2, allowing us to provide experiences that are appropriate to the children’s individual ages, stages and developing independence. Children have opportunities to explore through play, build friendships, develop their communication and language skills and become increasingly confident in their surroundings.
Preschool Room
Our Preschool Room provides an exciting and stimulating environment where children are supported to develop the skills, confidence and independence they need for their next steps. Through a wide range of engaging experiences, children are encouraged to make choices, solve problems, build positive relationships and develop a love of learning. We place a strong focus on school readiness, helping children develop their communication, independence, social skills, resilience and ability to manage everyday routines, ensuring they feel confident and prepared for their transition to school.
Our Nursery Kitchen
We have our own separate nursery kitchen, where our chef prepares fresh, nutritious meals every day. We believe mealtimes are an important part of the children’s day and provide opportunities to develop independence, social skills and an enjoyment of healthy food.
Forest School
One of the most special features of our nursery is our 2-acre Forest School site. Children have daily opportunities to explore the great outdoors, developing their confidence, resilience, physical skills and understanding of the natural world.
From exploring woodland and natural spaces to climbing, digging, investigating, getting muddy and discovering the changing seasons, our Forest School environment gives children the freedom to learn through real-life experiences. Outdoor learning is an important part of everyday life at Bilingual Day Nursery, rather than something children only experience occasionally.
